OakleyのPit Bossを転送会社経由で個人輸入したのですが･･･、とほほ。　[情報] [編集]

アメリカのAmazon.comのストアからOakleyのPit Bossの偏光グラスサングラスを購入し、日本への直送はしてくれないので、いつものようにスピアネットで転送しました。
料金は、購入金額が$180でAmazonからスピアネットまでの送料が$6で計$186。スピアネットの転送料金が$31だったので、転送料金を含めると$217だから約17,000円でした。

10日で商品は到着しました。スピアネットで開梱して検品されているのは、青いテープでわかります。

ところが、商品の箱の中には、説明書や保証の葉書しか入ってなく、サングラス自体が入っていない。愕然としました。

Amazonのストアで商品を入れ忘れたのか、スピアネットの検品時に紛失したのかわからないので、双方にメールを入れました。

Amazonからは、以下の親切なメールの返信がありました。

要は、滅多にこんなことはないのだが、返金してくれるとのことでした。また、代わりの物を買ったら送料無料で速達便で送ってくれるということでした。
無事、購入代金は2日ほどで利用したクレジットカードに返金されました。

一方スピアネットからも、丁寧な返信がありました。

お世話になっております、スピアネットです。
ご連絡が遅くなり、大変申し訳ございませんでした。
発送させていただきました商品でございますが、
恐らく、検品担当者の不手際により、中身を開封せずに外箱およびインボイスのみで
検品を完了してしまったのではないかと思われます。検品担当者に聞いてみましたが、
サングラスの場合は、インボイスまたは外箱のみで検品しているということでした。
お荷物の重量も150gしかないことから、元々商品が入っていなかったのではと推測いたします。
従業員で手分けし倉庫内も探しましたが、遺失物の中にもサングラスはございませんでした。
検品の段階で商品確認を怠り、あってはならない初歩的なミスで、弁解の余地もございません。誠に申し訳ございま
せんでした。
今後はこのようなミスが発生することのないよう、検品および管理体制をを徹底してまいる所存
でございます。
つきましては、大変お手数ですが購入先にお問い合わせいただき、中身が入っていなかった件、転送会社を利用しているため、連絡が遅れた旨お伝えいただけませんでしょうか？

でも、こんなこともあるんですよね。Amazonじゃなかったら、返金ももっと手間もかかっただろうし、回収できないこともあったかもしれませんね。
