GRIVELのアイゼンG10のサイズの調整方法

今年からやさしい冬山にトライすべく、雪山用のものを着々と仕入れています。
GRIVELのアイゼンG10を購入しました。いつものようにbasegear.com http://www.basegear.com/で購入しました。商品自体は、先日ご紹介したクーポンを使って8,500円くらいでゲットしました。ICI石井スポーツですと16,000円くらいで、楽天の通販ショップでも14,000円くらいするので、いつものように激安で仕入れました。
※ちなみに、basegearは米国時間の今日までサンクスギビングのセールをやっているので、クーポンの使い方がわからない方も、多くの商品を割引でゲットできます。

こちらがG10です。本格的な冬山は、爪が12本あるG12でないと心配だそうです。どうしようかなと思いましたが、今回は爪が10本のG10としました。私の靴はスカルパ・トリオレなので、後ろにコバがあります。だから、後部がビンディングシステムとなっているニューマチックタイプを選びました。前後ともコバがあるスカルパ・モンブランのようなタイプなら、前後ともビンディングとなっているオーマチックが装着可能です。その他に、ビンディングのないニュークラシックというタイプもあります。
写真の黄色の部分はANTIBOTTです。着雪を防ぐもので、GRIVELでは標準装備しています。単体だと日本では4,000円くらいします。



収納ケースも一緒に買いました。1,200円くらいでした。日本では、3,000円くらいします。



サイズの調整なのですが、足の大きな方ならバーを前後させて下記写真①の留め金で調整可能です。


しかし、足のサイズが26cm以下の方は、このままだとそれ以上小さくサイズ変更できません。
バーが下記写真→のところで引っかかって、それ以上小さくすることができません。


その場合の調整方法が英語で説明書には書いてありますが、わかりにくいと思うのでここで解説します。
まず、バーを引き抜いて留め金を外します。



そして、留め金を逆に③のようにアイゼンの前に止めて、バーは④のように前後を入れ替えます。


アコーディオンのカバーを装着して、バーをアイゼンの留め金に差し込んで止めればできあがりです。更に２～３cmくらい小さく調整することが可能です。


写真では前部のANTIBOTTを外しています。これを外さないと、バーが外れません。
