ラスベガスへの個人旅行の楽しみ方 - その②航空券・ホテル予約 -

個人旅行の航空券の予約は、ネットを使えば簡単です。
スカイゲート、イーツアー、CAS TOUR等々大小問わずたくさんあります。
ここでは大手の楽天トラベルの予約方法をご案内します。

楽天トラベルのHP http://travel.rakuten.co.jp/ を開けて、海外をクリックし航空券をクリックします。
海外航空券をさがすより、旅程を入力します。


検索ボタンを押すと、検索結果が出ます。このコースでは、アメリカンの旅券が一番廉価のようです。
ちなみに、今は日本からラスベガス直行便はないので、すべてアメリカ本土で乗りかえとなります。サンフランシスコかロス経由が一番便利なのですが、航空会社によってはバンクーバー、シアトル、シカゴ等からの乗り換えとなります。大韓航空便は、ソウル乗り換えでラスベガスへ直行します。


57,000円なら結構安いなと思われたでしょうが、どっこい燃料サーチャージが今はとても高いです。7万円近くします。よって、トータル金額は13万円を超えてしまいます。


安く行くために一番いいのは、航空会社のマイルを貯めて特典航空券で行くことです。繁忙期でなければ、3ヶ月くらい前から物色すれば見つかると思います。
飛行機に出張等で頻繁に乗る方は、買い物マイル（無理しない程度）を合わせれば1年で10万マイルはたまると思います。飛行機に乗る機会のない方は、買い物マイルのほかにありとあらゆるマイルの取得できるイベントを漁れば、1年で5万マイルは貯まると思います。ラスベガスまでは6万マイルくらいでいけると思うので、1年間一生懸命貯めれば、旅費分がゲットできます。※燃料サーチャージは別料金です。
私は、ANAのスーパーフライヤーズクラブの会員なので、スターアライアンスグループの飛行機を利用すればいつも快適に旅行できます。スーパーフライヤーズクラブについては、興味をお持ちの方もたくさんいらっしゃると思うので、取得方法や会員の特典も含めて近日ご案内します。ちなみに私は修行はしないで、自然体の利用でゲットしました。

続いて、ホテルの予約です。安く旅行するためには、これば重要です。
今回は、私の常宿のエクスカリバーホテル http://www.excalibur.com/ja/ の予約を例に説明します。
なんと最近は、日本語の案内もあります。2年前までは、なかったです。
ここでは、赤字で囲んでいる空室状況をクリックします。


この画面から、英語です。この画面では、赤字で囲んだレートカレンダーのところをクリックします。


9月と10月のレートを見てみましょう。まず、金曜日と土曜日が格段に高いことがわかると思います。金土には、カジノ目当てにお客が殺到するから高いのです。日曜日には退散するので、一気にレートは安くなります。
週によっては$200を超える日もあります。ラスベガスはカジノだけでなく、コンベンション（幕張や東京ビッグサイト等で開催される見本市）の街でもあるので、大きなコンベンションがある週は料金がうなぎのぼりとなります。
噴水で有名なベラージオホテルなら、9/17のレート$539です。


次に11月のレートを見てみましょう。1泊$38の日があります。二人で泊まれば、一人$19です。日本円ならわずか1500円少々です。
よって、旅行をするにも閑散期を狙っていくのがベストです。超高級ホテルのベラージオでも同じ時期は$149ですから、最高級ホテルに泊まったとしても一人$75なので6000円で泊まれます。


なお、エクスカリバーが安いからといって貧弱なホテルではありません。ホテル自体も大ホテルの部類に入るし、部屋も広くて十分に大きいです。クィーンサイズのベッドが二つあり、中に入れば、日本人からみた感覚では1泊3万円くらいと思います。何よりも、カジノが庶民的です。
ベラージオでブラックジャック（テーブルゲーム）をやろうとすれば、最低の掛金（ミニマムチャージ）が$25で、またそのレートのテーブルが少なくて座ることができません。エクスカリバーなら$５からあります。

さて、次回はグランドキャニオンでの私の体験談、またはカジノについてご紹介したいと思います。
